Born and raised in Massachusetts, Jeffrey knew at an early age it was all about hair after he would spend time with his mother at her salon. His calling took him to Miami and New York, where he studied with Vidal Sassoon and Beth Minardi. In 1997, Lyle moved to Boston, where he has been a sought after-after colorist for more than 15 years. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and affable chair-side manner, Lyle has been named the city's Best Colorist for four years by Boston Magazine and Twice by the Improper Bostonian. He also garnered favorable reviews from InStyle, Lucky, and the New York Times. Most recently, he was featured in Allure and Elle, as Best Colorist and Top Salon in the country.
Justine was recognized as one of Newbury Street’s most sought-after and talented stylists early in her career. Her extensive training and experience is shown through her art of both Haircutting and Haircoloring including Balayage. Piecuch believes strongly in continuing education and has received advanced training with L’Oreal Professionnel, which positioned her as an educator throughout the Northeast. She was also named the city’s Best Women’s High-End Stylist by Boston Magazine.
Cortney is a hair colorist specializing in all techniques of hair color including the art of balayage. Her passion for hair color started in Vermont working for Aveda. After moving to Boston, she started working with Jeffrey where she continues to paint hair. Cortney attended the L'Oreal Academy for advanced hair color techniques and continues color education courses to stay updated on her craft with the latest hair color techniques and products. Cortney specializes in balayage, the art of hand painting highlights to give that “sun-kissed glow” which creates a transition from babylights to lighter ends. This unique process maintains the integrity of the hair and delivers seamlessly bold, natural results.
Mae's career began in Boston where she has worked with some of Boston's most influential hairstylists. She started out assisting on Newbury Street learning the fundamentals of hair cutting and styling. Currently working at Jeffrey Lyle Salon, she has now added hair colorist to her resume working under Jeffrey to hone her hair coloring skills. Mae believes in creating a custom look for her clients that is both flattering and easy to recreate
